That “friend” sucks, he knows what kind of situation MC is in, his debts, grandmother, and generally shitty life. Of all people you’re asking HIM for money???
Like I don’t care how hard it gets, ask someone else, and if there’s no one else, figure it out. Never ask people who are in a bad situation for money, because they will give it to you and put themselves in a worse situation. Losing this money is probably gonna be what pushes him into hell with that crazy guy.
