CrystalAris probably meant emotionally needy or has anxiety. Either way it is certainly scary for a kid to go through alone, especially without her beloved sister.
There will be a time skip so I believe he will go back in time and come back or she will join him in his time period later. Who knows what is to happen but their age gap will decrease somehow. I do like the idea of introducing the characters like this and how as a 7 y/o thinks of marriage and wishes to be with that special person forever who wont leave her all alone. I have the same fear of being alone and hated it while growing up with parents on the way to divorce. Its a messed up situation and confusing at that stage. Anyway the story is a great intro of her childhood and her prince charming's arrival due to her heartfelt wish due to her loneliness. Cant wait to see after the time skip and things progress but this is good so far and the relationship between them as a silly family setting (not in a marriage or sexual way) but through their interactions similar to a family which fills in that loneliness the girl feels and the stranger as he worries about his family and how to handle the brat.
Ah, cannot wait to see how he will need to handle her when she's grown up as well. Really want to see the differences when the time comes. For now I'll enjoy this silly atmosphere of silly family members.
