i thnk it was pretty obvious his gf broke up with him? she said not to contact her again (twice tbh since she first asked for a break). we dont even see him send that text explaining himself. besides, hyori is already turned off from the relationship. its not like she's pining away for him. looks like she brought up marriage, and it seems thats already the dealbreaker since incheol is too busy with his job to consider it. that relationship is already dead. the only way it could be revived if he dropped everythin right now, went back into the city, quit his job, and begged her on his knees.
