My understanding is that the successor power lies dormant on horus and will be activated once he becomes full god. But once he's a full god and he still is deeply in love with seth, he will lose that sun god powers and it will go try find a new impartial god who can inherit that role. I can smell the angts coming the moment horus becomes god, loses his memory and feelings, and seth will either have a chase arc or he will fight round 2 with horus

Horus didnf fall in love with Seth because of the mirror. He alrdy loved Seth long before that and so the mirror did nothing to him except make his innermost desire come strong enough to befuddle him and rape Seth back when Seth had tried to rape n humiliate him. That was the only time and it was against his will cuz of thr mirror. About the wadjet we still dont know if Osiris was deigned to be successor but if he was he lost his power due to his blind obsession and I think the power was stolen by horus as it goes in canon story. Its all got to do with their past lives before they lost memory. A theory that some of us have neen following based on the hieroglyphics author put in some chapters says smth like past life horus stealing smth n being killed by Seth while isis revives him etc etc. If those lines are ttue then this shit goes way deeper than we know right now so we gotta hold out n wait for it
