It is kinda true tho, especially if you don't have anti reflectives lenses.
And the superman effects has been proven many times in real life too.
But glasses can definitely also elevate the beauty in some ppl don't get me wrong.
I'm just saying having lenses usually makes you look more sleepy/sick (I personally have to put more makeup to look as brightened up as no glasses)
I’d have to disagree. I think attractive people look attractive no matter what, unless the glasses are of extremely high number and they make your eyes look small. Having a pair of glasses on won’t really affect your attractiveness level. Even superman looks hot with or without glasses lol
The superman effect is that ppl do not immediately recognise someone with and without glasses. So, it's natural to be surprised when you see someone without their glasses, because they do in fact look different.
They won't look super ugly to super hot, but it can definitely affect attractiveness to some level.
Some glasses can def make someone look uglier (and vice versa) but there are more factors that make it less attractive (dull lenses, deforming lenses, ...)
