yeah but that scene happens in the novel at around the most recent chapters of the manhwa with kaelus coming home from telling the crown prince he doesnt want diana to be abdicated. they prolly moved it earlier for the manhwa bc they planned to add this scenario of hestia losing consciousness lol. to be fair, the novel did gloss over hestia’s existential crisis so i guess this is a way to make up for it.

all i can say is that this was not in novel if i can remember correctly lol. while the part of hestia sitting on the balcony railing(?) and having ideations abt dying and what would happen if she were to die were true, she did not actually want to do it. while she was sitting there, she saw the carriage entering the gate and kaelus prolly saw her and immediately rushed to pull her away. hestia was shocked and lowkey didnt think it was that serious up until she felt him crying. kaelus was not talking at all, visibly distressed and depressed and she did a lot of coaxing to cheer him up and reassure that she wasnt about to kill herself. he didnt show up for work and literally only stayed beside hestia for days. he only brightened up when hestia suggested to leave the capital to focus on them and their relationship. they ended up taking a looooong vacation in the territory they recently acquired, only to come back when something big happened.
i’ll only spoil that much lol. honestly my memory might fail me bc im so unsure if i remembered these sequences correctly. the novel is actually good so maybe you try looking for it if anyone’s interested.
