Tbh, it's the same old dynamic of ML and MC relationship were the ML is domineering, toxic, violent person while the MC whose terrified of the ML but still has a glib-tongue and shameless attitude. Basically the MC has the guts to answer ML even tho he knows one day he'll be buried 6ft under. Lmao
That relationship was better portrayed in the novel. ML wasn't in love with the MC at first like everyone else (love at first sight or something) ML slowly fell in love with him.
Plus in the novel it was better executed how ML has "power" his a lunatic who kills people just because of a slight mistake. Most of the time his rational but sometimes he'd be violent with people who do stupid things. (sure it was shown in the manhwa tho it was kinda lacking for me because the novel had more details which I know manhwa's tend to skip or jump over)
Fav part on the novels when ML start to visibly favor the MC because his starting to like him. As for the running arc of MC I like the novel version more. In the manhwa they skipped a few chapters, actually ML let the MC took a few more trips before actually getting to see him.
MC had the chance to unwind, think over his feelings and actually missed the ML when he ran away. (=・ω・=)
The novel was better at laying the plot out, the manhwa ain't cutting it for it.
Plus they butchered the MLs whole appearance like dude I know ML should appear as strict and cruel. He just actually looks wonky here. (The art isn't good but it isn't bad either, it doesn't suit the story or characters tbh)
Ghaaaddd, I checked the raws of the manhwa and it's not how I imagined it when I read the novel. The ML in the manhwa I'm like who the fucc is he? His not the ML I pictured out in the novel not only his appearance but his personality here as well plops than the novel (his not really nice in the novel, like I said MLs personality is strict and cruel, tho he has a soft spot for our MC which wasn't clearly shown in here)
