I agree with you, I think right now he's not weak but he just not adapt to hunter's way to combat yet. I mean, even in his original world, isn't he just some kind of office worker and not directly fight like earth's hunter? ╮(￣▽￣)╭
Nope, in human perspective he more strong tho, the way he thinks sometimes exceed human brain, plus our mc mana are more high than any S class mana lmao, it's just his overall health doesn't help him being strong sobs

No, he’s actually weak. Physically and in terms of his mana capacity, which is VERY important for his strength, he’s extremely weak. He’s only highly intelligent

For me, he isn't. And I don’t think the other characters believing he’s a strong hunter is really a "misunderstanding."
He already showed his strength. It took him a while to reconstruct a spell from his previous world, but he managed it. He couldn't do much else because he has very little mana—almost none, really. But his true power lies in his efficiency and deep understanding of magic. He’s practically a sage, since he already knows almost all the magic that exists on Earth—because it already existed on his planet.
Basically, he can do anything related to magic. On Earth, hunters’ skills are limited by their magical affinity—some people can only use one type, like fire, water, or invisibility, and not everyone even has that. But he can use them all, as long as he understands the magical principles behind them. And even with very little mana, he can modify spells to make them 10 times—or more—stronger.
In my opinion, he's already strong. He just relies too much on the excuse that he has low mana (which is understandable), and that makes him seem weak from the reader’s point of view. Honestly, I don’t care much about the misunderstanding the other characters have—how they think he’s an S-rank hunter pretending to be F-rank—because I already see him as strong. Maybe not quite S-rank, but at least B-rank.
