idk if you’re even reading it correctly but it’s clearly not that easy considering the situation he’s in. he’s trying to figure out why his dad suddenly changed his mind about his marriage. from what we can tell, his father was threatened by the pope so he’s trying to investigate that while being a spy working for the church. he knows where he wants to be and it’s not with the saintess but he has other personal affairs right now that is more important than just choosing between the fl & the saintess. he’s definitely very much deserving of being the ml like there is no other candidate better than him. but, yeah, i really disagree on the fact he has no courage because what he’s doing now shows that he has courage.
What does this even mean??? Everything he is doing is to protect Fl and Adam. He already chose them over everything else. He let go of his family's honor of following the crown and went to the church to save them.
If this guy doesn’t build up the courage to choose his love over his family/father’s decision SOON then Idk why he’s even the ML. if anything major had to happen between FL and/ Adam and that Saintess before he makes up his mind, he needs to just go.
