Thanks for asking, it's really funny cause I also happened to spend the last 2 days in the ER (2 visits) for severe unidentifiable pain in ALL my joints. I was sitting there, wrists in pain, and was like SO annoyed cause the top literally tried his hardest to let the bottom go, since he acknowledged he was the cause of his suffering, and the bottom still wanted to go through with his revenge and complained about hating all the sex etc but the top literally gave him so many chances and made sure it was consensual, even told him to put it in himself so that it wouldn't seem coercive. I'm so used to red/black flags in these kind of stories so I was sitting there confused and in pain. Haven't finished it yet (ch 26) but there is so much I can take. One believes the sex is consensual cause the bottom DID agree, and the other keeps thinking about how much he hates it and is disgusted. I certainly don't want to do any victim-blaming and understand that the top literally killed his family, so the revenge is valid. It might be that the pain has clouded my judgment, but I have yet to see the top actually be a RED red flag, yet all my alarms are going out cause of the comments and other similar stories.
