I can understand the argument over the ring. If the ring was that important to Takahashi, then I can see him being upset. On top of that, it seemed like that was an ongoing argument between the two of them (that Satou kept taking it off). (I was, however, annoyed that the mangaka didn't draw the damned ring in later at all.)
I am disappointed. First the parents having a fight about losing a ring. What a drama queen! Second, Rin was pretty dense and was unsure But at least he got it together. Kyo was right to leave at first...But I cannot get onboard with being gone for 6 years. It's at the beginning of a "relationship" that you really need to be together, it's crucial. Long distance rarely works. I could understand going for 2 years of college...Kyo took the wrong approach on not wanting him to visit or be visited. The ending sucked!
