My theory is that she actually didn't know him, even though he was interested in her. She probably didn't return his feelings because she sensed something was off about him and completely distanced herself. However, some incident must have occurred, and he took advantage of that. Now, he seems to be trying to gaslight and manipulate her out of a misguided sense of love. Maybe?
Same thoughts. He's shady af, and def gaslighting her. I wouldn't be surprised if it was HIM who did something to wipe her memories. Especially how she had that migraine when he told her his "real name"??
