idk! ofc they need a storyline but i think this is addressing his mindset and how he thinks, he’s scared to lose him and doesn’t want to ruin it in case a label is too much. he wouldn’t stress over this if he didn’t have something holding him back yk. i just dont know how well the author is letting that be displayed rn
