wait im curious did you only understand that the author was a shotacon after this? I read suicide boy a few years back and i remember it was full of random shota fan service similar to this (though i will say they definitely didnt try and hide it this time)
Honestly? It’s been a long time since I’ve read it and I’m only just now getting back into using this site. But I remember the story just being about a guy who wanted to off himself bc he was bullied and isolated. but he makes friends and the friends sort of help make his life not feel as bad. I even think at some point he stopped hurting himself. So that’s all I remember about it, and I liked it bc it was relatable (me being a kid at the time). But it’s been like 3 or 4 years since then. This story though definitely feels very different though, like the bullying is just sexual harassment. The sisters got a complex. He’s built sort of like a woman. Eh, maybe I just notice more since I’m older now lol.
I don’t usually take reviews by others on this app too seriously (rather read and form my own thoughts on a story), I ended up reading this bc I read suicide boy and thought that, all things considered, the story had a good message about mental health and community that I related to personally…thought this would be similar. But this story…is definitely way different. It has interesting moments—in terms of story plot, but I can definitely see why the artists got labeled as a shotacon...like why is Iltalk is curvier than me? And the milk stuff??
