It makes sense the way school is set up you’re learning simply for a test and not to carry with you throughout your whole life. Stuff like that in which you have zero interest in is not going to go into your long term memory.

Even things I found interesting I forgot. I just have a hard time remembering things for some reason, idk
I’m talking about stuff like the rain cycle, how volcanoes erupt, how rocks are formed, mitochondria is the power house of the cell, the light spectrum, how many amendments there are, the presidents, algebra, stoichiometry etc. I have come to realize I basically forgot everything I was taught in school. The moment a school year finished, all the stuff I learned disintegrated in my mind It kind of sucks because I don’t know basic shit
