Well said,!! There is character development only reason people can't understand it cuz it's very complex with humanily behaviour here which they are not prone to see in fiction most of them forget plot
Yeah I totally get why some people who aren’t as invested or don’t remember all the plot details might read a new chapter and be like, Wtf is going on?Nothing is ever really spelled out directly, you kind of have to interpret the story through the characters' actions, expressions, and dialogue. It’s subtle.
But the thing is, to actually interpret those moments correctly, you need to remember what’s already happened and understand the characters’ motivations. If you forget key events or don’t pay attention to the emotional layers, it’s easy to miss the point or misread what’s really going on

Hahaha it's thanks to chatgpt, i don't have enough patience to write these long rants so instead i voice record it to chatgpt and then it types it, but also corrects my language and instead uses much cooler/smarter words that i dont usually use as english isn't my first language. As you can tell :D
Okay, so… I’ve noticed that a lot of people in the comments seem confused about the plot, and honestly, I don’t really get why. It’s not rocket science — the main storyline is actually pretty straightforward. Maybe some of the confusion comes from the supporting cast, and I’ll admit, that part can be a bit murky at times. Even I’m not entirely sure why we’re following Scott’s story. He’s not exactly a fan-favorite, and most people don’t find him particularly likable.
That said, I do think the whole pregnancy subplot might have some kind of impact whether directly or indirectly on the main characters, or at least one of them. We’ll have to wait and see. If it turns out to have no real effect, maybe it’s just a break from the main story or something the author personally wanted to explore. I don’t mind it, but I understand why people feel it’s taking time away from the couple we’re all most invested in.
Another thing I’ve seen mentioned is the supposed lack of character or relationship development — and I really disagree. I think there’s actually a lot of growth, both individually and between the main characters. We’ve seen significant emotional shifts over the first two seasons, especially from Hayden’s side. Maybe Brett’s development isn’t as “loud” or obvious, but it’s definitely happening it’s just more subtle and layered.
In fact, I get the feeling that Season 3 is going to be heavily focused on Brett: his backstory, his trauma, and his emotional journey. Compared to Hayden, Brett’s inner world is more guarded, more complex — maybe even more messed up than we initially thought. But if you’ve been paying close attention, you’ll notice the constant foreshadowing around him. His story is scattered throughout in small glimpses.
If you go back and reread with those things in mind, a lot starts to make sense. You begin to see the full picture, what shaped Brett, what he’s been through, and why it’s so difficult for him to open up and fully embrace a relationship with Haydn.
