I think they should atleast reach some understanding or meaning. If it will end like Dohyun hating Sungho's guts, the end, it will be empty. I'm not'expecting a happy ending, but maybe some kind of tradegy that leaves somekind of bittersweet aftertaste.
Some people are saying "how is there going to be a happy ending?" There doesn't have to be. It's a psychological thriller, and honestly I don't think they should get together. The poor guy is getting raped but he's also a bad person. The other guy was scarred by a childhood experience but that doesn't justify his actions.
