I think rather than accepting or excusing Vercions actions he’s sort of justifying them, which obviously isn’t good but I think based on his past trauma and everything, he thinks that since Vercion has been with him since he first woke up in this new world, the actions done to him are justifiable. Obviously this is very sad but it just goes to show how deeply rooted Sunwons trauma is and how he uses sex as a coping mechanism even if he’s being raped. Even when he met the sun god in Ryeo, he tries using the sex as a way to distract himself.
I loved this series so much and i feeling so hard for sunwon because of his past trauma but WHAT. Whys he accepting vercion so easily. I was thinking “oh finally an mc who’s not going to accept rape, and the romance between him and the king is so peak “ but NO.
If sunwon ends up with or spares vercion in any way i might just stop reading anything out of grief
