i think bc the age gap here is used for the plot. MC was essentially groomed by the ML not for romantic reasons, but to silence him... also the ML doesn't look like he has romantic feelings towards MC at all? his "love" seems to be a possession to get what he wants. truly a horror story tbh lol
Tbh, I think it’s too early to deduce if it was to silence. I’d what detective said is exactly true then the story wouldn’t be interesting. I’m pretty much sure there’s more to it. ML actions show he cares but there’s an obsession as well. Seems like there’s more to it. I don’t think what detective said is 101% true cuz then the story will just end.
there's no other reason why he would choose to adopt the mc so the idea of ml keeping the mc close to him to silence him makes sense. also, whether it's obsession or possessiveness towards mc, we still can't deny that mc has been groomed by ml
The reason the age gap is being ignored cuz the story actually seems good! The pacing is good, the suspense, the plot seems interesting. It would have been any other age gap and sus bl but the plot is here to save the day
