It was just an expression I wrote. He clearly refers to between them can't be nothing more than friendship or a father figure, it does not refer to sympathy (at least from my pov) bc he already had sympathy for Yeongwoon. I mean, he can scolds him for his actions, but wouldn't get mad at him for a hickey on his neck.
