Yes!!! I dislike Taekang but can’t hate him for at least upholding himself to the contact. Of course he didn’t do his due diligence but he provided a least a lot of Yigon’s needs.
There isn’t a regression tag thank god so I think we’re gonna either go the death route or a new factor may enter the scenario helping Yigon or making the situation worse

We really can’t be mad at the ML, because he actually took the time to investigate everything about Yigon — even the car explosion. Imagine if Yigon were a real-life influencer with that kind of chaotic reputation — would you believe anything different after seeing all that? The ML put in the effort instead of acting like your typical red flag male lead.
The real problem here is the damn brother. He’s so sly, and his record is too clean — suspiciously clean.
Also, I smell major foreshadowing here. Notice how the ML keeps saying Yigon is obsessed with him, always repeating it like a mantra? It’s giving bully energy — the type who claims they “hate” someone but can't stop thinking about them. In this case, the ML is unconsciously the one who’s actually obsessed with Yigon.
Honestly, it lines up with what the author said on Twitter — that the ML will regret it. I hope he spirals hard, just like the ML in Cozy Obsession. I want full-on breakdown, deep regret, and emotional chaos.
