The problem begins when people insist on claim they own the truth or distort the story to prove themselves right, so they write an entire essay trying to convince others that Jae Gueng is not abusive but is a complex character, bro, let's just lol
I saw that. Plainly stating it, he’s abusive. Sure, he’s complex, but that doesn’t excuse his actions. The complexity of a character doesn’t mean we can’t criticize Jaekyung (which he rightfully deserves). If anything, it encourages the reader to condemn his actions, because abusers choose to abuse. There are plenty of people who’ve broken the cycle of violence. Jaekyung, unfortunately, did not!
