Actually no, I even looked this up lol, at their very core Furries are animals while these guys are all Humans. Doesn't matter that they're very similar to furries, they just aren't furries.
To make the distinction clear
Furry: Animal + anything (ex. Human traits)
Persona: Human + anything (ex. Animal traits)
