He did win, though? in the end he couldve killed jiwoo if the others hadnt stopped him (obv he wouldve exhausted himself to the point of dying in "enemy" territory too)

I just feel like in the Awakener world Jiwoo just barley loosing will have a lot more positive/raise his status more then what that guy got out of it.
So technically he did win, but at what cost? Basically just to let off some steam because his master died (and rightly so, it’s not like it was unwarranted) He might have won this battle but it’ll probably ruin his reputation, and put him in a state where anyone could finish him off (It fells like he won the battle but lost the war)
