I think it does justice to the real tale of "the little mermaid" where the mermaid is helpless till the end and eventually chooses to die over killing the prince. She didn't have any special powers, just the ticking time against the curse on her.

Fl is a siren indeed, however she doesn't have any real memories of her time as a mermaid but she occasionally feels a connection to the ocean and some sort of survival instinct. Even crazier, she's the little mermaid's sister (the og lil mermaid that turned to foam), the novel referenced it but idk if the manwha will.

So is she a siren or something? What the point of her having voice in her head if she doesn't have super cool power related to that, she would be so freaking cool with "power" because right now she has nothing to rely on
