I definitely got weirded out by that part as well but thinking about it in that angle makes it a bit better for me, especially with Moonie noding, probably sharing the same desires and concerns

I agree LOL but he's been really sweet so far and you can see that it's actually working in turning his partner on PLUS he's asking, it's dirty talk but I do think if his partner wasn't getting heated up and nodding along that he would have snapped out of it.
