I dont think the author was victimizing the abuser at all. I feel that was properly shown in the ending where he got an actual fair punishment for what he did to his child victim. As for him ending up with the mc and them "looking happy" I thought it was clear that the ml was emotionally manipulative towards the mc which caused a trauma bond (when a victim stays with their abuser). We even see the mcs thoughts in trying to convince himself why he should stay with his abuser. The only reason why he did was because he had the ml saving him from suicide and saw him as a "god". Adding on, the backstory of him when he raped the kid, he was a young teenager. It isnt uncommon for younger kids to replicate the abuse, even sexual abuse, towards others. Doesnt mean its an excuse, but rather a realistic explanation. I thought the story was very beautiful in its storytelling.
are we gonna glaze over over how the author is victimizing a child rapist nd murderer like yeahok and how the priests morality is so messed up but disguised jin some saintlly compassion and perspnality plus no self respect at alll
