He'll be shocked most probably cuz he you've never imagined that jaekyung THE jaekyung came from those circumstances, cuz to him he must look flawless & amazing before, and then he might try to put 2 & 2 together and realize why jaekyung is the way he is, and might sympathize with him cuz their circumstances were similar, and might even respect him more after realizing just how hard her worked to reach there (even tho he's already seen him push himself)
Overall i think he'll pull himself together after listening to his story & might try helping him get his title back, i hope he doesn't forgive him too easily tho, helping him & forgiving him are two different things helping him is his job, and then as someone else pulled out a theory, after he wins the match while they're away, dan's grandma might die
As jaekyung kept denying his feeling for dan saying he needs him for winning, he might gloss them over again and focus on winning with Dan's help, and dan will do his job not forgiving jaekyung and not feeling anything for him, and when he wins and realizes just winning didn't fill that void & realizes he needs dan not just for winning cuz he likes him
