I think takahiro is super afraid of commitment because of past trauma. And he feels like Mario's parents won't accept him AND mareo as gay. So he thinks he will take Mario's parents away from him. He also feels guilty.
yes i agree, i feel bad for him too because what he had been through to think he's a burden to Mareo but idk at the same time i wish he would try harder to actually take in how much Mareo is making an effort for him, Takahiro needs to make an effort in being more brave too

i feel like in his mind, because he is older and more experienced in life than Mareo so he thinks he's more mature
but to me, Mareo just cries alot but he's way more mature, he communicates head on about what's bothering him, what he thinks they should do together, he tells Takahiro about every single thing aside from that time he went to the sex club with that client, horrible move. But really, he's a great partner, he's committed, he wants to show Takahiro that he truly loves and is serious about him. Takahiro needs to try and communicate more on what's concerning him instead of just avoiding it, staying silent and not doing anything about it besides from running away
