THERE'S NO FUCKING WAY BRO!

5 days, ONLY 5 measly days. You mean to tell me that's all it took her to crumble. First of all it doesn't matter if it wasn't even 5 days. Why did she wait so long to try and make her next escape. Even if her room had been renovated that chain was mad long. She could have walked around there got some tools and started working. He haven't been in that room for days, in fact nobody's been in there. Like me personally I would have found a way. It doesn't matter how weak I am I'm still going to find a way if it's that bad, but this is just me looking in from the outside because obviously there might be more layers of the situation to peel back. Like can someone tell me why the most wholesome moment of the entire book was an affair.( ̄∇ ̄")At this point I don't even know why I keep doing this to myself like you think it can't possibly get any worse and somehow it still finds a way. I must be a masochist or something that's the only other possible explanation. Because at what point does seeing it to the end no longer matter anymore.

I think added onto the fact her last escape ended in peter betraying her, i think all her hope is gone at this point. Poor grace. But you’re right about the affair being the most wholesome moment, it’s so funny(≧∀≦)

I agree but also sexual/psychological torture followed by an escape and betrayal and then sensory deprivation and starvation can leave you pretty fucked up

Yes, like if at the end of this she still finds a way to trust someone else, it'd be the biggest plot twist EVER. ヽ(`Д´)ノ

I completely agree that it can start to add up. I just wished that the author would have captured her trying to escape at least one more time. Before they depicted her completely shattered both mentally and physically.

I agree ! I think it being shown in a more gradual/detailed way for longer would be better. The pacing really misses in some places ( ̄へ ̄)
