y'all lack critical thinking

the way people are saying “i skipped the flashback lol” or “when is this gonna end ” "he died lololol we dont care" just proves half of y’all aren’t even interested in the actual storyline. like do you want to understand the characters or are you just here for the drama and porn and surface level angst?
because this is the author LITERALLY laying the emotional foundation for growth. it’s not asking you to forgive jaekyung, it’s asking you to understand what shaped him. thats wtf the BACKSTORY is literally opening the story for. you can acknowledge that he’s done awful, inexcusable things,(especially to dan)and still want to see where this healing arc goes. like can we not use our brains to analyze the story instead of acting like 12 year olds? no ones justifying shit by understanding.
y'all keep demanding “growth”(as if you'll ever even accept it) but then you skip or ignore the part of the story that shows why jaekyung even needs to grow. it’s like you want him to just stay evil so you don’t have to feel anything complicated or think too hard.
truth is, a lot of y'all don’t want complexity and u just want simple villains, simple victims, and stories that don’t challenge your empathy. but if you can’t sit with the messy, hard parts of a character’s story then ur missing what this whole story is even about. so just go put the phone down and save yourself the frustration instead of continuously reading when you clearly know whats gonna happen with jk and dan
