I think it's cause it's just the head ya know the more logical side of things that can see things from a unbiased perspective ( their memories together), maybe he sees the memories as detached from him cause he ain't really Henry he just has his head

He actually died after he left Victor for good after he got tired of him. Victor is just delusional.
Honestly this is such a unique story but I keep feeling so sad over the fact that his lover died and he only wants to be with him again
