i just read this whole thing in one sitting so i know for a fact that not only did shiina changed, but sasaki as well. if it was ch 1 sasaki in latest eps he would know something is not right w shiina. don't get me wrong, shiina is also in the wrong. but, he is trying to dwell w emotions he isn't familiar with. shiina is processing his feelings while trying to make sasaki understand that he meant no harm but in the process of "doing so" his actions differ greatly from what he has in mind, making sasaki doubt him.
in conclusion, the mangaka shouldn't have dragged this one much longer. i mean shiina alr caught feelings for sasaki in like what? way back in the single digit chps? it was only a matter of acceptance and confession then boom happy ending
