I was reading that the author has a rejuvenated passion for this work hence the remake but at this pace it will take 10 years to catch up to the original plus I’m afraid that it will not “continue” but have an ending.

I feel like they'll drop it or make the events happen at a faster pace

Yea. The author should have continued the story instead . The art has evolved which is great but the continuation is what is important

Yeah the fact that we're so behind compared to the original is making me very anxious as well. What if something happens and the author just decides to drop it?? I LOVE the remake so far but I would have preferred to read the continuation directly, I don't care about the change of art :(

Still I don't think the author had much of a choice. I'm assuming that K*kao also required it, I don't think they could have just published 200+ chapters from another platform out of nowhere, not to talk about the fact that they would obviously want people to pay for them, but it wouldn't make sense because people have already read them for free in the past. And also maybe there would be legal issues with the previous company? Idk, it's just an assumption
