I was only able to understand it, because I read some spoilers a while ago... And even with the spoilers it's quite confusing...
Carcel remembers his 2 of his past life and had a plan to divorce Ines or he was gonna kill the prince and himself in the process and make her a widow because he thought she was in love with the painter Emiliano. But he realized that God gave them another chance but he’s still unsure what to do with it because in his mind he believes Ines truly doesn’t love him and all he wants is her happiness. Ines only remembers the 2 of her past lives but a few chapters ago she realized she in fact loved Carcel in her past 2 lives (he doesn’t know that yet). And I believe the crown prince remembers one past life too but I could be wrong and he could just be obsessed with Ines…
