Some people just wanted the "sob backstory" to be drawn so they could have some excuse to defend his actions and his "redemption"
not really i havent seen anyone defend his actions or even say excuse them but knowing the backstory would let us understand jaekyung. now is he the worst ml ive ever seen 100% NOT. so im willing to let the story marinate for awhile so i can see jaekyungs redemption arc.

Having Jaekyung’s backstory earlier in the series shouldn’t change your opinion of him. I saw people complaining that we’re getting his backstory too late cause we would’ve been reading with more sympathy but there is no excuse for his actions present day. We’re getting an explanation but not a justification for his actions. I do believe he will probably get some crazy redemption arc but it’s a BL manhwa what can you expect
