At least when he was kidnapped it felt like it was just them two... plus the plot is just objectively bad now that too many irrelevant characters are introduced and lacks any real depth.
During the kidnapping arc we knew nothing of what happened so all the mystery made us expect good backstories with a brewing plot that would all tie in together harmoniously. But now we realize it's just whoring around in the name of business, with some ties into the mafia thrown in for whatever reason and gross rich people who lack any nuance. Nothing about it is interesting, and the fact that Raymond isn't rejecting that gross pos and running away with winter immediately just shows how they plan on dragging this shitty plot on even more.
I was excited for what was to come next in the kidnapping arc cuz I could never tell what was going to happen, but it's obvious that nothing from now on will be anything new
Do you not realize how mafia works? They would track them down anyway. Until Dominic and the leaders of that shit are gone or until they ome to an agreement with them there is not much they can do on their own. (But still waiting for Dominic do end bad, better to reduce him to a slave or something so he can suffer the rest of his days, not to just kill him).
At this point kidnapping arcs looks way better. What happened to me?
