Ok so first thing, you can give Jaekyung as much trauma as you want and yes that would make me feel bad for his younger self, but not his present self. He had the choice to change but took the saying “the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree” a bit too srsly.
Second, I completely forgot about the jinx until I started scrolling through the comments LMAO. My guess is he lost his virginity before a match and coincidentally won, and when he doesn’t he loses so in his mind sex = win and his brain works around that as if it was a placebo

Cuz yeah that dude is fucking insane and should be hated bc of all the things he’s done BUT he’s a very well written character. Russian mafia boss, obsessive, jealous and violent, has some gap moes here and there which is cute but overall we knew what we were getting into.
Jaekyung on the other hand is just a violent insecure dude with one hell of a superiority complex. He’s not putting bullets in his lover like another guy I know, but he is basically bullying Dan and treating him like a disposable rag BUT AT THE SAME TIME being completely possessive to the point of showing him mid sex to another person without his consent.
Ceasar is a maniac, wbk, but he’s a maniac in love and would go to the end of the world for Lee Kwon. Jaekyung? The asshole does whatever he wants, treats Dan like shit and even threw away an expensive ass gift bought with hard earned cash, breaking my baby’s heart (I won’t let the gift chapter go he deserves jail for that shit)
