Listen, I’m not making excuses but I am a BL reader. It’s in my DNA that if we’re given a character introduction and sob story like yohan’s BEFORE his flag changes and shit hits the fan… I’m probably going to forgive him. Sure I’ll absolutely loathe him for becoming a total shit stain psychopath, but I’ll still forgive him.
The author totally knew what they were doing with this story by making us pity Yohan beforehand instead of giving the background after the fact. Out here doing God’s work.
