Not to mention the scene where she literally drowned, died and brought back to life but all we were shown is them entering the castle and never uttering a single word about it or how they felt back then like it never happened
Thank you for saying this. The plot was lost. The characters were flat, the ML was predictable and pathetic.
RIGHT!! HAHA!! Also, in any case, we were never given a REAL, LOGICAL explanation what the heck she was doing in that mountain. Like, gathering people, sure, but why was she alone? Why was none of the "people she gathered" with her? Why was everyone able to get to court but her???
All that scene was so stupid, the drowining, the chocking, the "I should be careful, I shouldn't call to these strangers" hahahah come on! Logic??? Where???

And definitely, the whole thing was a mess.
So... I found too many flaws in the story, the characters, and the whole thing.
The kid never grew up not even a little bit, as if the story had taken place in three months.
Some "plots" were excessively elaborated for the ending they got.
Villains were villains just for the sake of it, the reasons were too shallow.
You tell me whatever you want but Estelle and Kaizen doesn't make a good couple, and they were never a couple tbh.
The ending was atrocious, empty, senseless and with nothing to look forward to.
