If you muster up the courage to ask, but she says she isn’t interested whereas you just might be, don’t say “oh, uh, yeah, me neither.”
You may be thinking I’m pulling this from various romance stories, however, this actually happened to me. I was the one who said “no” first because I seriously wasn’t interested, and they in turn pretended not to care. I believed them. And boy, shit got weird for a few years while they slowly came to hate me for that interaction.
Always be honest when it counts, lest you accidentally warp the truth down the line.
I'm just worried of ruining things when I'm going to live with her and other friends. She's really nice and I'm just realizing that I might like her but she's way more forward than me and we both constantly joke about our bdsm test results since we're shockingly compatible (she calls me bratty all the time for context and I feel like that's not usual for friends) and we get along really well. She also remembers a lot that I say and she's pretty physically forward (I pick my nails a lot and she'll always grabs/holds my hand, pins it down and tells me to stop cause it's bad for me and she tickles me all the time when I'm sarcastic with her) and so I just wanna know if people have this happen with other friends or if this is just flirting cause idk

I've had two friends that I got that vibe from. I never confirmed anything with them and we slowly drifted away. Most people will feel dissatisfied if they can only be friends with the person that they like, but also feel like they have to hide something/not be open with you. As I've gotten older, I realized that I having someone like you for who you are and not superficial stuff is really flattering. I'm not sure if talking with them at that time would have ruined the friendship, but not talking ended up ruining things too. You are going to be the best judge of how you think she will respond, and how you want her to respond.
