Just a thought...

If we go by the premise that even trash was something useful once, and, the ml is the main subject, maybe he could be falling into a contradiction when saying that 'if everybody was born with means, like power and money, they would choose the same path as his'. But 'to be useful' is to have a purpose, good or bad. It's, ultimately, always about choices. Like some says, nobody is born good or bad. Nobody can explain exactly what makes a person 'evil', like serial killers, child molesters or rapists, even when they were raised in comfort or in a loving family (in flower fields). It's always about making choices. Everyone is born with the capacity to do some level of harm but what makes some more inclined to do extreme acts of violence... human nature is not so black and white but this characters are, opposites in fact, so is very interesting see them clash and burn.

I just want the mc to seek therapy after this and not being another story about ml crushing mc's spirit and the later becomes a toy, a pawn or a living proof of his rotten beliefs.

I need the mc to emotionally scar ml for life or put another one on his face, what comes first (me choosing violence lol)
