The prosecutor followed the murderer into the ocean. Someone said he took what is prob the drugs that the murderer had obtained (back when he was dating that married dude) which is a heavy sedative or something that would help him not be able to swim back to shore, and this drowned himself in the ocean, kind of a symbolic to go to be with his partner. The image was a hallucination.
Man, I feel so fucking bad for Minsik. That dude got the worst of everything. His own brother and mother treated him like a punching bag and his lover also ended up murdering him, YIKES. He really couldn't catch a single break.
Anyway, did they both die by the end? I didn't really understand what happened by the end. I know they were both shitty assholes, I still couldn't help but want them to survive by the end. They got some really good characterization, I couldn't help but get attached and hope for their survival. I got a little emotional over these murderous grown men dying by the end, ugh. That detective had to come over and ruin everything. Someone tag this shit tragedy please. I don't fw tragedies even if they are in dark romance. That ending fucked with me.
