Well people get excited and keep talking about where the story left off. They usually won’t talk AS MUCH if the story wasn’t on hiatus at such an exciting point
That's not true though? When they became official, there were several tweets abt it, one of them even getting like 25k likes (!!!!) and it's full of comments asking for the name of the manhwa and ppl celebrating in various languages
But when there's a hiatus there's just scattered comments whining and being negative, and no one asking for the name of the manhwa that went on hiatus.... not good publicity
This industry is known for being exploitative, I'm sure if they could, they'd have artists pump out chapters like crazy, as they've done many times before...... idk tho! That's what I think, thanks for explaining!
but people get mad when you say they do this on purpose at big moments when they know theyre going to max engagement lmao. jinx did it to us recently with the hug/boat scene, melting point did it two weeks ago, etc. they do this on purpose and you get dragged for saying they do it for engagement but it is what it is.
