I get it a bit it feels sudden lile a switch.
Well as the top already mention several times, the bottom is easy to falling in love if someone being kind to him and this time the top didn't only being kind but he is also triggered the bottom issue about losing someone who close to him. The bottom didn't want the top to leave him and since the top is kind to him so yeah he end up falling for him and trying to make the top didn't leave. It's not he is not genuinely but like you said it's so fast it's feels so easy. But later he will prove it literally lol
Like, somehow the love from the bottom doesn't feel like enough? Like he fell to quickly, like easily? Man, idk what exactly it is, but something is missing. Hope some sort of struggle will happen, that will convince me of his actual love.
