I read this a long time ago and refuse to reread it so i forgot some of it but....
idk how old some of yall r in these comment sections saying that they are all realistic depictions of teenagers but i have to disagree.
As a teenager myself i could never agree with most of the actions a lot of the characters took. Of course i'm not saying that I had the situations as them growing up or that my environment is the same as theirs, but i still understood what they went through and how that impacted their character and actions. But even then it just felt like the author tried to extend one of her best selling mangas with the pretext of the characters backstories in mind. but then she proceeds to not give us more to their happy ending when it took way too long to get one in the first place. IMO it's just a really sad story abt some kids, which pissed ppl off as it started further and further away from a romance and became more drama/angst.
while i do agree it's not that bad it's also just not as good as so many people say it is, and i will die on that hill.

As someone in her 20's and that's working as a fill in teacher to gain experience in the field, I believe the story reflects youth very well. It's okay for them to struggle, make mistakes, learn to properly communicate and grow. The problem is people expecting these teenagers to always act right and never make any mistakes.
