I do think Natsume is related to Ban or one of the other powerful families, maybe even Matoba. I think it was Reiko in the painting and she looks different because she was smiling at the person she loves, the one who created the painting.
Huh??? I'm pretty sure that was reiko in adult form. Plus natsume mom is not related at all with reiko
Ah nevermind I forgot natsume father took his wife surname but I'm pretty sure that's reiko when she was a bit older and happy with someone she love
One way or another....any chapter of this manga, manages to make me tear up. Also Our sweet boi Tanuma finally had a chat with Youkai, unrelated to Natsume.
Sensei knew about that Youkai being nasty, yet both Natsume and Sensei kept quite about it, as Tanuma genuinely felt happy about it.
And I think, one way or another, Ban is related to Natsume...idk...I just felt like it, he might be the one who submitted that painting. That's Natsume's Mom, coz Reiko had more sharp features...but well, either way, smiling Reiko or her is precious
Also we get a lesbian pair~^^ Shinobu San & Clara~^^ about, Matoba....he has quite a sad past too... I'm looking forward to more chapters in future ... I'm glad it was updated after so long
