Mc in the future got so used to being gaslighted, raped, assaulted, threatened, that he developed Stockholm syndrome. He was also convinced that oh bc ml have his traumas too, MC's the one who have to suffer that burden, like he's the one who's responsible and MC's suffering suddenly doesn't hold any weight.... It's genuinely insane.
