Yep but...I think the narrator is as calm as Tae's brother. That makes everything flow in the novel. Here in the comic... it feels a bit odd, but not bad. Tae's brother seems... like a person who's emotionally incomprehensible. I don't find him an interesting character, to be honest. That's why I haven't read his book yet. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

It’s true, the character is extremely bland, but my main gripe with these next few chapters is that I feel the story is extremely contrived.
I won’t spoil much but I think their captor is a fucking idiot that made a mountain out of a molehill.
Like I I said, the only thing I liked about these scenes was that phone call and there were probably other ways to have that happen that didn’t include this particular set of characters.

I agree! The most absurd thing was the resolution of the weapons issue. Honestly, Tae's brother's way of thinking doesn't make sense...
Amen, I kept reading for Tae and Ilay. What I most want to see is Ilay's expression and what Ilay almost said to Tae.
I hate Shinru so much because he ruined the moment, and I want to see Ilay's abandoned expression.!!
everything is so delicious ( ̄ε(# ̄)Σ
I really didn’t care much for the sibling reunion.
To me it was kinda bleh.
The only thing I enjoyed of this part of the story is when Tae manages to call Ilay.
