Calling love pure is disingenuous. Human emotions have no predetermined, set value. Love can be just as toxic and corrupt as it can be sweet and kind. Anger can be selfish, or it can be selfless. Patience can be carried out by force just as it can be an act of self sacrifice. No reasoning or value hidden behind an emotion change it's ultimate form – for better or for worse.
